Commoner creates genuine food from the heart, inspired by the diverse collection of cuisines found in San Francisco.  We pop-up at local bars to offer focused collections of unique dishes, prepared with farm fresh ingredients, in the styles of Middle Eastern, Asian, Italian and Pacific Rim cuisines.  California cooking sensibilities guide our creative process by utilizing whole ingredients at the peak of their season and presented in an unfussy way.  We aim to bring a light-hearted approach to eating, in an atmosphere that is boisterous and communal.  While our food is eclectic, the common threads are simple: all is made from scratch, by our own hands, from beautiful locally sourced ingredients.
